The Grand Prize
Aaron Rufino Palabyab
This photo was taken while travelling around Peru, at a stop called Abra La Raya, at the provincial border between Cuzco and Puno. It's a popular tourist stop at an altitude of 4,335 metres above sea level, with an incredible view of the Andes, lots of local colour, and some friendly alpacas too.
Sudipto Das
In two remote villages of West Midnapore district in West Bengal, India, a community of about 20 women still earn their livelihood based on traditional shallow water fishing. This photo captures them using a net locally known as a ‘ghun’, made of four bamboo sticks and netting. They catch small native fresh water fish and prawns to sell at the local market.
Kareem Negm
This photo was taken at the stepped well of Panna Meena ka Kund in Jaipur. Kareem Negm watched as a kid arrived with his family and began climbing up and down the steps, playing noisily with his siblings. The scene was so spontaneous and uninhibited, it was refreshing. All it took was to wait for a great shot. That's it!
